From the gentle West Indian Manatees in Florida to the majestic Mountain Gorillas of Bwindi, many animals I have encountered on my expeditions into the bush and back country are vulnerable, threatened or endangered.
The reasons include habitat degradation or loss, illegal hunting and over-harvesting, the introduction of harmful non-native species, pollution and the spread of disease. Regardless of cause, it is important to protect the natural world.
I am proud to donate a portion of every transaction to wildlife conservation projects around the world. Each school year the beneficiaries change. Click below to see this years recipients.
